A man who allegedly murdered a 77- year- old in Martintar Nadi has been advised to seek assistance from Legal Aid Commission.
Vereti Tavisoro charged with one count of murder and one count of burglary made his first High Court appearance in Lautoka yesterday.
It is alleged that he murdered the elderly man during the an allegeged burglary last month.
The accused chose to represent himself in the matter however, the High Court advised him to rethink and seek assistance from Legal Aid Commission.

The matter is adjourned to 31 August for information and disclosures.
The accused has been remanded further in custody.
