Situation: A weak trough of low pressure with associated cloud and
showers affects the eastern parts of the group. Meanwhile, a moist
east to northeast wind flow prevails over country.

Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Today:
Cloudy periods with some showers and isolated afternoon or evening
thunderstorm over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori,
Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Eastern Macuata, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove,
Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu
and nearby smaller islands.
Isolated heavy falls expected.
Elsewhere, fine apart from afternoon or evening showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
Moderate to fresh east to northeast winds, gusty in areas of heavy
falls and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.

Tomorrow:
Some showers increasing to occasional showers and isolated
thunderstorms later in the day over Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori,
Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra, Eastern Macuata, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove,
Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu
and nearby smaller islands.
Isolated heavy falls expected.
Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding over low lying and
flood prone areas.
