A HEAVY RAIN ALERT REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE NORTHERN DIVISION,
YASAWA, NORTHERN LAU AND LOMAIVITI GROUPS.

A FLASH FLOOD ALERT REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI GROUP.

Situation: Tropical Depression TD03F lies to the northwest of
Yasawa-i-rara and expected to gradually pass just north of Fiji. The
associated trough with rain bands expected to affect parts of the
Fiji group till later Friday.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Occasional showers with isolated heavy falls and thunderstorms over
the Northern Division, Yasawa, Northern Lau and Lomaiviti groups,
eastern Viti Levu [Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Ra].
Showers increasing to rain from tomorrow over Vanua Levu, Yasawa,
Northern Lau and Lomaiviti groups.
Elsewhere, partly cloudy with few showers and afternoon or evening
thunderstorms.
Persistent heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.
Moderate to fresh southeast to northerly winds, gusty in areas of
heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Moderate to rough seas.
Outlook for Friday : Occasional rain with isolated heavy falls
and thunderstorms over the Northern Division, Yasawa, Northern Lau
and Lomaiviti groups, Viti Levu [Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori,
Tailevu-Ra.
