Issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre Nadi at 3:30pm on Friday the 24th of October 2025.

Situation: A moist easterly wind flow prevails over the country.
Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure is expected to approach the group
from the north. Associated cloud and showers expected to affect the
northern and eastern parts of Fiji on Sunday.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Cloudy periods with brief showers over the interior and eastern parts
of Macuata, Southern Bua, Cakaudrove including Eastern parts of
Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Interior and eastern parts of
Viti Levu [From Serua-Namosi, through Navua-Suva-Nausori up to
Tailevu North], Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti
groups.
Elsewhere, cloudy periods with isolated afternoon or evening showers.
Isolated thunderstorms possible.

Moderate easterly winds, fresh at times.
Moderate seas.

Outlook for Sunday : Cloudy periods with some showers and
isolated thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls about the Interior
and eastern parts of Viti Levu [From Sigatoka-Korolevu,
Serua-Namosi-Naitasiri, Interior Ra/Nadroga/Navosa through
Navua-Suva-Nausori up to Tailevu North], Southern Bua, Cakaudrove
including Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Kadavu and nearby
smaller islands, Lau and Lomaiviti groups.

Elsewhere, partly cloudy with afternoon or evening showers and
isolated thunderstorms with possible heavy falls.
Isolated heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying and
flood prone areas.
