Qilai Road in Namosi will be closed for seven hours on Sunday, 11 October, to allow the replacement of a broken and dislocated culvert.
The Fiji Roads Authority says the closure will run from 9am to 4pm, with no vehicle access during the works.
A pedestrian bypass will be available at the upstream end of the creek.
Motorists are urged to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.

Road closure signs will be placed ahead of the works, while traffic controllers will be on site to direct motorists.
The Fiji Roads Authority is asking commuters for their patience and cooperation while the essential repairs are carried out.
