Senior police officer sent on leave

Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu has sent a senior officer on leave to verify information in relation to an allegation of corrupt practices.

The investigation is in relation to an alleged incident that occurred last year.

While no other details have been released, Tudravu says investigations are ongoing.
