Our invite to Richard E. Grant’s epic dinner party must have gotten lost in the mail.

The Saltburn actor shared a FOMO-inducing photo Aug. 24 on Instagram, featuring a star-studded table surrounded by over-the-top decorations.

“🎶 It’s my party & I’ll cry if I want to 🎶,” he captioned the post, listing his celebrity guests and their loved ones. “@oliviagrantcasting[,] Christine Baranski, @stevemartinreally[,] Sir Gary Oldman ,Anne Stringfield, Mark, Gisele Schmidt, Helena Bonham-Carter, Martin & Henry Short. Fans were impressed by the gathering of iconic actors. “Wow. You know when people go ‘if you were having your ideal dinner party, who would you invite’…..it’s meant to be a game, but you did it for real 😂😂😂,” one wrote in the comments section.

“What a roster of legends! Almost upstaged by that marvelously theatrical room!” said another, calling out the lights and masks decorating the space. “The ‘ Creme de la creme’ at one table. Looks like you had a lot of fun.😍,” a third chimed in.

Even Glenn Close was dazzled. “Wow Richard! The laughter must have literally raised the roof. 👏👏Gorgeous,” she commented.

Grant’s guests also included his daughter, casting director Olivia Grant, and her husband, Florian Herbst — who is credited with having taken the photo.

The Oscar-nominated Can You Ever Forgive Me? star, unsurprisingly, has showbiz ties to several of his guests, including Helena Bonham Carter, with whom he starred in 1997’s A Merry War.

Steve Martin — who was joined by wife Anne Stringfield — appeared alongside Grant in the 1991 satire, L.A. Story. Martin’s good friend and longtime collaborator, Martin Short also attended the get-together with his son, Henry Short.

Grant and Academy Award winner Gary Oldman shared the screen in Francis Ford Coppola’s 1992 film, Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Oldman’s wife, Gisele Schmidt, also partook in the festivities.

Grant and Christine Baranski, meanwhile, are weeks away from sharing the stage in Hay Fever. The play, which marks Baranski’s West End debut, will run from September to December at Wyndham’s Theatre.

Grant currently stars alongside Claire Foy in the dark satirical period piece Savage House.
