More than 723,000 Fijians are now registered to vote as the country prepares for its next General Election.
The latest figures released by the Fijian Elections Office show a total of 723,771 registered voters.
Of that number, 362,438 are males, while 361,333 are females.
The Central Division has the largest number of registered voters at 313,135, followed by the Western Division with 270,175.
The Northern Division has 102,304 registered voters, while the Eastern Division has 25,266.
A further 12,891 registered voters are living overseas.
The figures also show a significant number of younger voters entering the electoral roll.
There are 30,959 registered voters aged between 18 and 20 — including 15,935 females and 15,024 males.
The largest age group is those between 31 and 40, with 83,378 males and 80,081 females — a combined total of 163,459 voters.
The 21 to 30 age group follows, with 73,724 males and 73,226 females, bringing the total to 146,950.
The latest figures come as Fiji steps up preparations for the General Election, which may be held at any time between now and February 6, 2027.
The Fijian Elections Office continues to urge eligible Fijians to register, verify their details and ensure they are ready to exercise their democratic right.
