The Fijian Elections Office has recorded 8,901 new voter registrations through registration drives conducted in Fiji and overseas between 2025 and 2026.
Justice Minister and Acting Attorney-General Siromi Turaga revealed the figures in response to a written question from Opposition MP Inosi Kuridrani.
The nationwide Your Election Your Say voter registration drive recorded 8,158 new registrations, along with more than 61,000 corrections and updates.
Overseas registration recorded another 743 new voters — 468 in 2025 and 275 in 2026.

As of December last year, Fiji had 707,982 registered voters.
The Elections Office is expected to release updated voter statistics by next Monday.
