Bus driver of tragic accident fronts court

The Nasese bus company driver involved in a fatal accident in Suva last week has been charged.

The accused has been charged with one count of dangerous driving resulting in death and will appear at the Suva Magistrates Court today.

The victim, a 23-year-old woman, was crossing one of the pedestrian crossings at Stinson Parade when the bus hit her, causing her death.
