Rabuka welcomes Westpac’s decision

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has welcomed the move by Australian bank Westpac to reverse its exit plans.

Westpac is one of the only two Australian-owned banks operating in Fiji

Rabuka says the decision to continue serving Fiji was made just last week.

He adds this marks a dramatic change from months of planning to exit the Fijian market.
