Baravilala among world’s top tech leaders

Director-General of the Ministry of Policing and Communications Tupoutuah Baravilala has been listed in the Top 50 Global Tech Leaders for 2026 by the Tech Diplomacy Global Institute.

This has earned Fiji international recognition in technology leadership.

The recognition places Fiji on the global technology map and highlights the country’s growing role in digital policy and innovation.

The Tech Diplomacy Global Institute, established in collaboration with UNESCO, promotes ethical, inclusive and responsible approaches to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital trade.
