
The government will look into grievances raised by the Fiji Taxi Association.
This was the assurance by Finance Minister Professor Biman Prasad to executive members of the association yesterday.
The members had raised concerns regarding fuel prices, compliance issues with taxi meters, maintenance of the standard of taxi services at local airports, illegal taxi operators and road conditions in rural areas.

Prasad says that although change does not happen overnight, proper procedures will be followed and the Ministry of Finance will look into issues raised with relevant authorities and government arms to provide assistance.
