British Army Netball team tours Fiji

The British Army Netball team will arrive in the country this week for a series of friendly matches, headlined by a showdown against a Fiji Pearls Selection side at the Vodafone Arena in Suva this Saturday.

The match, which begins at 3pm with gates opening at 2.30pm, will feature some of Fiji’s rising stars as the Pearls Selection will include players from the national Under-21 squad alongside a few senior Pearls representatives.

Organized by the Petero Civoniceva Foundation in collaboration with the Fiji Sports Commission and local sporting bodies, the event aims to promote sporting exchange and provide local athletes with international exposure.

The visiting British Army Netball team will not only compete on the court but will also take part in cultural immersion programs and community engagements during their tour.

They are also scheduled to play against several top district sides before their clash with the Pearls Selection.

Entry to the Vodafone Arena is free, giving fans the chance to witness high-level netball and support Fiji’s emerging talent in an afternoon of sport and friendship.
