The Fiji Volleyball Federation is forging ahead with preparations for the 2025 Pacific Mini Games, despite facing financial hurdles.
While funding is often a critical pillar for successful international campaigns, the federation has yet to receive any government assistance for its efforts.
This, however, is a conscious decision rooted in administrative challenges.
“We haven’t applied for any government support, solely for the reason that there are numerous requirements to undertake.”
Naiqama said the federation is instead focusing on alternative funding streams and strategic planning to ensure the team can compete at a high level.
He emphasized that financial constraints will not deter their commitment to excellence.
