What began as a New Year holiday in Suva turned into a timely back-to-school boost for Beqa mother of four, Makereta Dredregasa with the arrival of the $200 Back-to-School assistance payout.
Dredregasa used the Government’s $200 Back-to-School assistance to buy stationery and school essentials for her children before returning to the island.
She says the assistance was very helpful to her as she was able to buy school stationeries and other things needed for her three children who will be going back to school.
The 35-year-old has thanked the Government for the support, saying the payout has eased pressure on family finances as the new school year approaches.
Meanwhile, the Ministry is urging all parents and guardians who have not received their payment by today, to contact the Help Desk on 3220551, 3314477, or 9980079.
