Man dies in Lautoka accident

A man has died in Lautoka earlier today after being hit by a train.

Police confirm that the victim was trying to cross a locomotive bridge when he was hit.

The locomotive was heading from Lautoka towards Drasa.

The victim is believed to have died on the spot.

Police say an investigation is underway.
