Two Fijian-born players will feature for the Wallabies in tomorrow’s second Bledisloe Cup test against the All Blacks in Perth.
Filipo Daugunu has been promoted to the starting lineup and will run out on the wing alongside Harry Potter, while powerhouse No.8 Rob Valetini makes his comeback from a calf injury off the bench.
30-year-old Daugunu came off the bench in last week’s 33-24 loss at Eden Park, while Valetini was sidelined through injury.
Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt has rung in the changes, with Tane Edmed named at fly-half ahead of veteran James O’Connor, who drops to the bench. Skipper Allan Alaalatoa also returns to the front row, while Will Skelton and Nick Frost form a towering second-row partnership.
The starting XV features James Slipper, Billy Pollard, Allan Alaalatoa, Frost, Skelton, Tom Hooper, Fraser McReight, Harry Wilson, Jake Gordon, Edmed, Daugunu, Len Ikitau, Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii, Potter, and Max Jorgensen.
On the bench are Josh Nasser, Tom Robertson, Taniela Tupou, Jeremy Williams, Valetini, Ryan Lonergan, O’Connor, and Josh Flook.
The Wallabies face the All Blacks at 9.45pm tomorrow at Optus Stadium in Perth.
