FCEF appoints new management

The Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation has announced an organizational restructure with a new management team.

The new structure includes a senior manager role alongside three manager positions, creating a competent and forward-looking senior management team.

FCEF Chief Executive Edward Bernard says the new team compliments FCEFS new board of directors and its latest President Eldon Eastgate, the restructure will see a more renewed energy and deliver on better outcomes for Employers and the private sector.

“I am very excited with the new team and I have full confidence in them.”

Bernard says the new appointees bring with them private sector expertise and experience that can be leveraged to deliver better on the organizations Corporate Plan and lead the departments and staff under their responsibilities.

According to FCEF, the new organizational structure now provides more clarity to FCEF’s core budget and funded positions and the roles and responsibilities of each staff.

Their first quarter organizational performance was also presented at a Board meeting and showed good progress in the financial, technical and management areas.

The new appointment includes Gaylene Kamali – Senior Manager, Advocacy & Corporate Communications, Pratibha Datt – Manager, Finance & Operations, Pricilla Ram – Manager, Business Development and Martha Kamea – Manager, Office Administration.
