More sugar cane can be processed during the crushing season if truck operators are more considerate when loading cane for delivery.
Sugar Cane Growers Council Chief Executive, Vimal Dutt says a lot of cane falls off the trucks during the delivery process.
Dutt adds they’ve noticed that in the Western Division a lot of cane falls on the Queens Highway between Sigatoka and Rakiraki.
