In ensuring efficient and quality service is delivered to all Fijians, Sayed-Khaiyum says the government has put together plans for birth certificates to be acquired with just a single tap.

“So now you don’t even have to go to the office, you simply have your phone with e-birth certificates and when you go to the school, you simply tap it against the machine and then you will get the birth certificate that will show up on the screen.”

Sayed-Khaiyum says the E-Birth Certificates is part of the government’s digital Fiji initiative.

The Minister for Economy says the government will continue to live up to its promise of delivering the best for Fiji and at the same time ensuring sustainability.
