Bus operations in Nausori and Korovou will be shut down after 2pm today.

Fiji Bus Operators Association, President Parmod Chand, says they have been advised by the Land transport Authority not to take any risks.

Chand adds services in Labasa will shut down after 2pm today while majority services in Savusavu and Cakaudrove have also been shut down.

In an incident earlier today, a bus driver had to clear branches and debris from the road before he could return from his journey to Vanuavou in Labasa.

More services are expected to shut down as TC Winston continues to affect the country.
