FRCS has launched a new website.
The Fiji Revenue and Customs Service has launched a new website aimed at improving accessibility, education and compliance for taxpayers.
Chief Executive Udit Singh says the upgrade reflects the agency’s shift towards becoming a modern, service-oriented organisation.
Singh says over the past nine years, rapid technological changes and rising digital expectations made the upgrade essential.
He adds the new platform aligns with FRCS’ vision to operate as a world-class revenue service and border protection agency, while meeting the needs of Fijians.
The CEO highlights that a key focus of the website is taxpayer education, adding that compliance improves when people clearly understand their obligations.
He says the new site presents information in a simpler, more structured way, making it easier for individuals and businesses to access and understand tax and customs requirements.
Singh adds the platform will support self-learning and serve as a reliable reference point, helping taxpayers comply with confidence. A new chatbot feature has also been introduced to improve customer support.
He has acknowledged the support from the Australian Taxation Office, which worked closely with FRCS to review and improve the website’s structure and usability. He adds that digital transformation will continue as FRCS works to enhance its services in line with evolving technology and taxpayer needs.
