A man was rushed to the CWM hospital with serious injuries after the vehicle has was driving hit an oncoming truck along Princes Road this afternoon.

The driver of the truck, Indar Moti told FBC News that the man was attempting to make a U-turn when the accident happened at around 5pm.

Moti adds that firefighters were called to help remove the man from his vehicle.

Police are currently working to direct traffic along Princes Road.
