Peceli Naviticoko 
Police are currently searching for a 19-year-old man who went missing in the Wailevu River in Labasa over the weekend.
It is alleged the victim was fishing along the banks of the river with his father when he slipped, fell into the water, and disappeared.
Search operations were suspended yesterday due to strong currents and muddy waters and are expected to resume today.

He is believed to be the country’s latest drowning victim.
