Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan, has been keeping close tabs on the Coke Zero Deans competition.

Ryan will be coaching the Fiji under 18 side to the Commonwealth Youth Games in Samoa next month and is eager to see the progress of selected players as they battle it out for school pride.

“There are some good players and some of those have picked in the Youth Commonwealth Games. So our two managers were in Ba to cast an eye over them. I watched them play in the quarterfinals and absolutely, we have some real talent in the schoolboy system.”
