Former Fiji Bati forward Tariq Sims will miss the Storm’s NRL pre-season challenge clash against the Warriors this weekend.

Sims is nursing a calf injury is currently undergoing rehab, building towards a return to full training.

He should be available in the early rounds of the season.

Melbourne also confirms start fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen will miss at least the opening six rounds as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.

The Storm will take on the Warriors on Sunday at 1.50pm.
