Pot-holes left behind by heavy rains during the onslaught of Tropical Depression 04F has many motorists frustrated.
While assurances have been made that it will be fixed, Fiji Roads Authority Chief Executive Officer John Hutchinson says pot-holes aren’t very high on the FRA’s priority list.
“I’m very aware of the complaints that we’re starting to receive about pot holes. Yes we are very conscious of that and we are doing our best to manage that situation and our priorities at the moment are clearly on getting roads that have got washed out culvert, and crossings open for general use.”
Hutchinson acknowledges the concerns of motorists and says theyโre working on addressing these issues.
Heavy rain and flooding over the last few days have racked up a damage bill of eight point five million dollars for the FRA.
