Meli Derenalagi on attack for Fiji [Source: World Rugby Sevens]
The Fiji Airways 7s team thrashed England 52-14 in its first pool match of the Paris 7s.
Waisea Nacuqu was in top form, breaking away from the England defence for Josua Vakurunabili to score Fiji’s first try, with Nacuqu making no mistake from the corner for the conversion to make it 7-0.
Fiji was in dazzling form as Meli Derenalagi made it 12-0.

The Gareth Baber coached side made it 19-0 when Vilimoni Botitu broke from the England defence to give way to Sevuloni Mocenacagi to score Fiji’s third try.
England managed to get possession as Ben Harris scored their first try to make it 19-7.
Fiji bounced back immediately and Waisea Nacuqu made it 26-7 at the breather.
Napolioni Ratu scored Fiji’s first try in the second half and converted it to take the scores to 33-7.
Fiji did not give any room to England as Alasio Naduva took the scores to 40-7.

England’s James Rodwell scored the lone try in the second half to make it 40-14.
Fiji scored two tries in the final minutes to Asaeli Tuivoka and Apenisa Cakaubalevu for the final score to read 52.14.

Fiji’s next game is against Argentina at 2:16 tomorrow morning and then their final pool match at 5:42 tomorrow morning against Ireland.
