Farmer to front court for alleged murder

The 48-year-old farmer of Qeledamu Settlement in Wainikoro alleged to have murdered his wife has been charged.

The accused is charged with one count of murder.

Police earlier said that the suspect allegedly attacked his wife with a cane knife, and as a result, she sustained serious injuries.

The incident happened on Saturday night.

He will be produced in the Labasa Magistrates Court today.
