A 75-year-old man has died after he was trapped inside a house in Makoi Nasinu following a fire yesterday afternoon.

According to the police, the victim was alone at home when the incident occurred at around 12 p.m.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, as the police and the National Fire Authority are carrying out a joint investigation.
