The Suva Magistrates Court has given Zoey Maharaj’s defence counsel until Friday to file mitigation.

Maharaj appeared before Magistrate Sageeth Somaratne this morning.

She was found guilty of one count of absconding bail.

The court had found that Maharaj failed to appear in court on January 10th without a reasonable excuse.
