Newborn’s body found in Momi Waters

An investigation has been initiated after the body of a newborn boy was found in waters off Momi village in Nadi.

Police say the infant’s body was discovered by two men fishing near the mangrove swamps.

They promptly alerted the Nadi Police.

Further details are pending as the investigation continues.
