Bagging another three points on Sunday is crucial for Lautoka in its national league title defense campaign.

The Blues will play its ninth Digicel Premier League match at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka against hosts Nadroga.

Lautoka currently sits on fourth place on the ladder with 13 points and a win would see them close on with two points on Ba who is in third with 18 points.

Coach Anginesh Prasad says getting the win or even a point will help them inch closer to defending its title.

The Sugar City side faces the Stallions on Sunday at 3pm.

This will be the last match of the first round with teams preparing for the upcoming Digicel Fiji FACT.
