Accident lands 13 in hospital

13 students are receiving treatment at the Vunidawa Hospital following an accident in Navuniasi in Naitasiri.

The incident occurred at around seven this morning.

Chief of Operations ACP Livai Driu says the driver had allegedly lost control, causing the vehicle to veer off the road, resulting in the accident.

Police officers are still at the scene.
