There are unconfirmed reports that several Fijians may have been caught up in the Mosque massacre in Christchurch.
FBC News understands the man who is from Nakasi, Nasinu had attended the Friday prayers at the Masjid Al Noor Mosque on Deans Avenue.

His family in NZ and Fiji are still waiting for word from the authorities on his whereabouts.
The family say he has not returned home following yesterday’s terror attack.

Meanwhile, Hafiz Musa Patel from Lautoka is believed to be critical condition and is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit at Christchurch Hospital.

Patel was visiting family in NZ.
Former Fiji National Zia Dean has told FBC News that his friend and also a former Fijian is currently recovering from a gunshot wound to the leg. He is expected to recover fully.
Dean says residents in Christchurch remain in a state of shock as the details of those killed and those who survived continue to be revealed.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Muslim League are expected to release a statement the Christchurch shooting soon.
