Qualifying for the 2020 Olympics was the first task completed for the Fijiana 7s side, now they will have to step up their game going into the HSBC World Sevens Series.

Captain Rusila Nagasau says Coach Saiasi Fuli has developed the side well to play the game better.

“He’s pushed us to another level, especially with training. It’s been mentally and physically tough for us. It’s the first time for us to play back to back. He’s here to help us push to another level and help us be a better person.”

The Skipper says Glendale and Oceania 7s is in the past now as they look ahead to Dubai next month.

The side now has two weeks to prepare for the next leg of the series without any injury concerns.

The Dubai 7s will be held from the 6th to the 8th of December.

Fijiana is in Pool B with Australia, Spain, and Ireland.
