The man allegedly involved in an assault on a woman at a shop in Ba on September 2, which was captured on video, has been charged and produced in court.

Police have confirmed that the accused was charged with one count of assault causing actual bodily harm and one count of damaging property.

He appeared at the Ba Magistrates Court and was granted bail.

The matter is now before the court.
