A man is now in police custody following a viral video circulating on social media that allegedly shows an assault on a woman in Nadi.

The footage captures a heated confrontation between the pair, during which the man appears to physically attack the woman.

The video has sparked widespread concern among the public since emerging online.

Police have confirmed that the incident was reported at the Nadi Station yesterday afternoon.
