Sisilia Seavula has formally withdrawn from Fiji Athletics team to the Pacific Games.

This was confirmed by Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee President Joseph Rodan Senior saying that Seavula has a career offer in Flight Attendant with Fiji Airways.

Rodan Snr says that Seavula will start her cabin crew training in time for the Pacific, therefore, she will not be available to represent Fiji.

“It’s good for her to take the position, in which she did. There is training she needs to attend, athletics will always be here and if she does get the job and she does qualify in that training she can always come to athletics in the future.”

Seavula is being substituted by Braelyn Lee.

The Pacific Games will be held in Samoa from the 7th to the 20th of next month.
