Jones says the scrum was an area in which they got into trouble.

South Africa were somehow too strong for us. We didn’t think that would be the case for us going in the game but that’s how it happened. And again that’s what happens in Rugby sometimes.

Captain Owen Ferrell agreed with his Coach in saying England struggled a lot in the first half.

Second half was a bit different we still felt like we were losing. Second half felt like we were getting some momentum, but it was probably not enough and at the back of it we got caught again, so they got the momentum straight back.

England came into the match with huge expectations after the New Zealand win, but only offered flashes of the brilliant all-pitch game which undid the All Blacks last week.
