Four men are in police custody after they were intercepted by the police in Rakiraki during an alleged aggravated robbery on Saturday night.

Police say the four men who are believed to be in their 20s, are alleged to have broken into the Courts Fiji outlet in Rakiraki Town and stole items worth up to $10,000.

When officers from Rakiraki intercepted the group, a getaway vehicle was also seen at the premises to transport the alleged stolen goods.

Police confirmed that all alleged stolen items have been recovered.
