Fiji Kulas midfielder Luisa Tamanitoakula has set her plans for life after football, planning to jump from the field to the sideline.

The 23-year-old wants to stay involved with the sport she loves and is thinking of going into coaching.

Her mission is to make the World Cup in 2027 but until then, Tamanitoakula says she’ll be making way for new talent.

“I would like to start on with coaching as I’m moving on with age. I think there are plenty of young ones coming up and if given the opportunity, I’ll start my way into coaching soon.”

The Ba striker says football has also helped her to stay in top form as required while being a member of the Fiji Police Force.

She is not the only player who is thinking of coaching with five other Kula players going the same path including left-wing Koleta Likuculacula who was part of the FIFA/OFC C License Coaching Course two weeks ago.
