The Fiji National University has more than 50 new programmes that will be made available for students across all five schools next year.

College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences DEAN Dr. William May says NCD components are integrated into all the 50 programmes to help in addressing the issue.

Dr. May says they’re also working on developing a programme to specifically address NCD issues and aid in reducing the number of NCD cases in the country.

Meanwhile, FNU partnered with the George Institute and has launched the FoodSwitch Fiji App to help Fijians make healthy choices while shopping.
