Real Madrid in talks with Mourinho to return as head coach

Real Madrid are in final talks with Jose Mourinho to become the club’s new head coach, 13 years after his first stint at the Bernabeu.

Mourinho is expected to replace Alvaro Arbeloa after a disappointing season in which Real Madrid failed to win a major trophy.

The Portuguese manager previously coached Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013, winning the La Liga title, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.
