Sayed-Khaiyum questioned again

Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum outside the CID headquarters this morning.

Former Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum was further questioned at the Criminal Investigations Department headquarters in Suva this morning.

Sayed-Khaiyum and Opposition Leader, Voreqe Bainimarama were questioned yesterday by CID officers for alleged abuse of office.

Bainimarama is expected to be questioned later today by the Police.

Sayed-Khaiyum spent only a few minutes at the CID headquarters before he left with his lawyer, Devanesh Sharma and associate, Gul Fatima.

He returned around 1 pm and is currently being questioned by CID detectives.
