Three men were arrested last night along Tivi Road in Kinoya after they were found with white substances believed to be methamphetamine.

Police say the suspects were arrested by a team of officers on patrol in the area after 9 last night.

The three were traveling in a private car when they were stopped and searched, whereby two small bags containing crystal like substances and dried leaves all believed to be illicit drugs were discovered.

Police confirm the three suspects are a 33-year-old residing in Lovoni Settlement in Nadera, a 28-year-old residing in Duvula Road in Nadera and a 28-year-old residing in Derrick Street in Raiwaqa.

All remain in custody at the Valelevu Police Station as an investigation continues.
