She traces the company’s journey from the CIDESCO-accredited Spa Academy Fiji to an EU-licensed skincare brand focused on thalassotherapy.
Sadranu highlights the use of wild-harvested nama seaweed, sustainable practices by Yasawa women, ethical distribution and eco-friendly production methods.
She also reiterated stresses that sustainability must cover the entire system including the people and culture behind the product.
She notes ethical sourcing, marine research, and community partnerships help Pacific innovations reach global markets.
Nama Fiji transforms locally harvested sea grapes into high-performance skincare while supporting rural livelihoods and protecting marine ecosystems.
Founded in the 1990s, the company empowers Fijian women through training and employment and supplies luxury spas in Fiji and abroad.
