Child admitted after alleged accident

A seven-year-old child is admitted at the Lautoka Hospital after he was allegedly hit by a vehicle near Narewa Village in Nadi yesterday evening.

Police say the victim was allegedly running after a ball that went onto the main road when the incident occurred.

As the police investigation continues, parents have been urged to be vigilant about their children’s whereabouts.
