A 30-year-old man died following a road accident in Navua early this morning.

Police says the victim was walking along the side of the road near Waidradra, when he was allegedly hit by a van driven by a 29-year-old man.

The victim was rushed to the Navua Hospital where he was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival.
