MOE clarifies position on alleged tampering of Year 12 exam papers

Police are investigating the alleged tampering of Year 12 examination papers.

The incident occurred after Nausori Police station received a report today in relation to the allegation which resulted from a break-in at Lelean Memorial School.

Police says the exam supervisor made the discovery this morning and found some of the sealed portions of the exam papers were already open.

Year 12 exams got underway today with more than 12 thousand students expected to sit the exam throughout this week.

The Ministry of Education says, the Year 12 exams at Lelean will continue as scheduled and with Police investigating, they are not in a position to comment.
