Despite an unbeaten run in the Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League, Gospel High School is bracing for its toughest match yet against Ratu Kadavulevu School in the under-15 final.
Team manager Agnes Wye says while their record is impressive, they are not underestimating their opponents ahead of Saturday’s clash.
She added that the players have worked hard to reach the final and are determined to hold their ground.
Wye also acknowledged the strong support from teachers and parents, noting the team’s goal to secure a spot in the national competition.
“We’ve worked too hard to get this far, there’s no going back for us. We thank the teachers and the parents for their support, and we are ready for Saturday.”
Gospel High School faces the RKS Eels this Saturday at Saint Marcellin Primary School Grounds.
